Accure Blood Pressure Monitor App

THE brief:
ACCURE is a blood pressure monitor designed to help monitor and manage Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) among adults aged 20-45. The monitor needs an accompanying mobile application to help track patterns of anxiety-influenced rise in blood pressure through comments and logged details, notes to and from their doctor, and the ability to view history of readings.
Research and ideation
I began the project by downloading a few blood pressure monitoring applications based on existing devices to see what components were common amongst them.
I then began exploring possible steps the user will take, and actions they would complete to help dictate pages and different sections of the application. This exploration also used information from research completed on lifestyle choices that need to be monitored for better heart health.
wireframes & Design
To get a general idea of the layout and different sections of the mobile application, I created wireframes in Adobe Illustrator that I then used as reference when making the prototype on Figma.

User Interface Design
dashboard
The dashboard or home screen includes the primary functions of the app which are to view most recent measurements, log details, and take new measurements. The dashboard also includes a list of available resources, as well as the option to view more.
viewing measurement history
The most recent measurement is available on the dashboard, and it takes the user to the measurement detail screen. From here, a link to the calendar is available where weekly overviews, as well as daily summaries are available for viewing.
Logging reading details
In order to keep track of factors that might influence blood pressure readings, users can track a variety of activities, factors, and additional comments on their readings. This can help track patterns of what may cause a spike in blood pressure to manage anxiety and prevent high blood pressure.
